Growing up, there was a phase in life where I aspired to
host a travel show. All thanks to travel and living bug that caught on to me
back then. Like seriously, who doesn’t like it when they get paid for doing
what they truly enjoy. Especially when you get Free air tickets, bus tickets or
rail tickets and hotel stays in every corner of the world along with a full
team to record you and your experiences while you are at it. Oh’ How I wish I
was a trip Savvy for life *Sigh*.
Don’t we all hope to give real life to those many many
photographs that we see or the plethora of experiences we hear.
Since childhood I have been fond of the game – name, place,
animal and thing. Every time the letter G was picked during the game – I would
perpetually choose the country. The Gorgeous G
Had the wonderful opportunity to visit the country back in
2015, As your trip savvy for the evening, I have an impressive tour package of
5nights and 6 days to the Gorgeous G.
A visit to the gorgeous G will be a dream holiday of a lifetime. Each of the islands have their
peculiar authentic style. The picturesque long crystal beaches and the colorful
relaxing beach taverns are beyond words and compare.
On day 1, We will depart from UAE
On day 2, We will arrive at the capital of the country. We
will freshen up and head straight to the port to start touring the country with
the enchanted 3 nights cruise.
First stop of our voyage will be at the island of the winds
named Magnetic M. We will spend a day on the island soaking up the
sun, sipping on some wine or ice-cold lemonade while we enjoy the scenic island.
For those of you who are young and those of you who are young at heart like me,
we will enjoy the vibrant night life of the island and not miss the opportunity
of socializing with some celebrities.
On Day 3, We then sail onto the country’s largest island, Charming
C. The 2nd island is a magical tapestry of splendid
beaches, ancient treasures and landscapes. It
encompasses the vibrant cities and the dreamy villages. The locals share
their traditions, wonderful cuisine and generous spirit. A healthy and tasty cuisine tops the list
while travelling. The country has a culinary tradition of about 4000 years and
was founded on the Mediterranean triad wheat, olive oil and wine. The country’s
cuisine is Mediterranean and so it happens to be one of the best.
On Day 4, Our next port of call will be the country’s
precious gem- Sophisticated S. The island looks like a giant
slab of layered cake. It will take your
breath away with its snow drift of white Cycladic houses lining the cliff tops.
When the sun sets, the reflection on the buildings and the glow of the orange
and red in the cliffs is mind-blowingly spectacular. The multi colored beaches
such as the black beach and red beach are so rare and true to their names. It
will be your first experience with the volcanic beaches and one of a kind.
The 3 nights cruise concludes on the 5th day
morning at the capital city of the country.
We will spend the day walking through the historic marvel. You will be charmed
by the ancient landmarks such as the Architectural A and the various other monumental
museums. We will walk through the old historical neighborhood called Pretty Plaka
clustered around the northern and eastern slopes of the Acropolis. The narrow
cobblestone streets with tiny shops to buy souvenirs or art will add to the
brimming cultural vibe of the Gorgeous G.
We will enjoy an authentic delicious dinner at one of the
city walk cafes. The dinner spread will include freshly prepared Greek salad to
delicious souvlaki with tzatziki dip. “Slurp slurp” The three-course meal is incomplete
without a desert – We will enjoy the replacement of ice cream. Any guesses? “A cup of frozen yogurt
drizzled with honey” *Burp*.
We will spend the night in the capital and on day 6 noon, we
will travel back to UAE.
